The Waterfront is one of the most popular program areas at Northwoods. During Summer Camp, the 90 acre lake is constantly busy with swimmers, rowboats, canoes, sail boats, and even the occasional windsurfer. Fishing, from boats or the shoreline, is also a popular activity at Lake Arrowhead. Early risers may be lucky enough to see the resident loons fishing for their breakfast. During Summer Camp, Scouts have the opportunity to improve their swimming or boating skills and earn Merit Badges and other awards. The following programs are offered for Scouts and Scouters: |
