Family Camp A-Frame

Northwoods offers an opportunity for families of Scouts and Scouters to attend camp, while their Troop is in camp. Our family Camp has water and electricity at each site. Central restrooms, showers, and campfire facilities are also available. Program areas in camp may be available to family campers when merit badge sessions are not scheduled. Family swim time must be scheduled with the Waterfront Director.

Warbler's Cove and Northwoods Scout Reservation:
Warbler's Cove shares a mile of boundary with Northwoods, has 3 lakes, a pool, a clubhouse and more room for large campers and your family can stay there for about the same price as at Northwoods. The Council has no formal financial ties with Warbler's Cove but has entered into an agreement that might be beneficial to campers needing more room and amenities than the camp can provide. Our agreement with Warbler's Cove allows Scout families to stay there at a reduced rate while their Troop is in camp at Northwoods.

YOUNGER CHILDREN STAYING IN FAMILY CAMP MUST BE MONITORED AT ALL TIMES!

If any of your Troop's families are interested in camping while your unit is at Northwoods, contact the Council Service Center at least two weeks prior to your arrival to check on site availability. Family campsites are limited and are first-come, first-served. There is a charge for site usage.
