Greetings, Scouters, We hope you will accept this mission to provide your troop with a week of fun and adventure at Northwoods Scout Reservation the summer of 2008. Our agents have been working hard readying the facilities needed for your mission next summer. We have included information critical to the success of your mission in this document. If you have concerns about the need for the mission, we hope you will remember our overall mission statement -to provide the best program available to your scouts. Our agents stand ready to provide mission assistance. We have the equipment, specialists and mission opportunities available for your use during your time at camp. We have the state-of-the-art mobile fishing platform for capturing those piscine agents needed for fulfilling the Fishing Merit Badge Mission. We have the staff with the knowledge to train your agents to avoid danger (Emergency Prep, First Aid), and to survive in the wild (Wilderness Survival). For your newest agents, we have the Introductory Course (Netomi Trail), as well as other resources for your agents to fulfill their mission of having a great time at Northwoods. We hope you will join us on this mission to provide your agents with a successful week in attaining their objectives in fulfilling their merit badge goals, as well as perfecting their cover stories of scouts having the time of their life breaking spy codes, searching out the necessary documents for mission success, learning to safely shoot bows and firearms, and identifying and avoiding the enemy agents disguised as mosquitoes. Your troops will return home with a sense of accomplishment having fulfilled their mission of having a had a great week at Northwoods. Getting your first year agents to camp this summer will also increase their chances of retuning next year for further mission successes. Thank you,
