Northwoods is located east of West Branch off Peters Road. From Lansing, you can get to the camp either by heading North on U.S. 127 to M-55 or by heading North to Flint on I-69 and then North to camp on I-75 to M-33 to M-55. Turn North onto Henderson Lake Road and then East on Peters Road until it ends.

Michigan International Camporee

The Michigan International Camporee to be held week of July 27 to August 3, 2008, hosted by the Chief Okemos Council, is the largest council-run multinational Scouting event in North America. Once every four years, contingents of Scouts, both all boys and mixed boys and girls, from over 20 countries, gather for 8 days of international friendship and fellowship at the Chief Okemos Council’s Northwoods Scout Reservation.
