Request for Central Registry Clearance
State of Michigan

All adults over the age of 21 who sets foot on Northwoods Scout Reservation (FOR SUMMER CAMP ONLY) are required to have clearance from the State of Michigan. This is a state law. Please print this form out, fill it out and send it (or hand-deliver it) with a copy of your driver's license to your local Department of Human Services office. Please visit the DHS Web Site for instructions on where to find your local DHS location.

You will need Form DHS-194.

When you are filling out the form, please have them mail the clearance/results to the address below.

This is required by state law. As a last resort, bring it to camp with you, but we highly encourage you to get it to us in advance. Thank you for your cooperation. This is a FREE service.

Northwoods 2012 Information and Forms

Leaders: Check the Northwoods Reservations chart to see which sites are still available for the 2012 season (IT IS ADVISABLE TO CALL THE COUNCIL OFFICE FOR THE MOST UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION). Please note: All Merit Badge Registrations MUST be done using the online system. We will not accept any paper registrations this year.
